The first of the Vox Pop teams...

We're very excited to start announcing our devastatingly talented teams for the second edition of Vox Pop on Sunday April 22nd at the Soho theatre.

We'll be announcing the teams over the next couple of days, so keep your eyes peeled for the exciting talent on offer.

Team 1: Justin Audibert and Katie Bonna

Justin Audibert is the current recipient of the National Theatre Studio’s Emerging Director Bursary and Education Associate Practitioner for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

As a director, his own productions include: The Tempest (RSC, ‘Shakespeare in a Suitcase’ edited by Ben Power) Mojo (RSC, Hampstead): Future Regrets (RSC, Live Theatre Newcastle): Company along the Mile (West Yorkshire Playhouse/Arcola/The Lowry); Kings Cross Voices (ArtsEd, London) Armley: the Musical (Interplay/I Love West Leeds Festival) and Born Abroad (West Yorkshire Playhouse).

From January 20009 to August 2011 he was Assistant Director on the Long Ensemble at the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he has assisted Lucy Bailey (Julius Caesar), Gregory Doran (Twelfth Night, Morte D'Arthur), and David Farr and Filter on Silence.

Katie Bonna is an actress, playwright and poet. She is Resident Poet at the Balham Bowls Club, where she creates word installations and runs her new adventure poetry night, Pyjama Poetry. She is an Associate Artist at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds and a member of Dirty Hands Poetry Collective. Catch her this Summer performing Dirty Great Love Story, a poetic comedy written with Richard Marsh, at Latitude Festival and the Pleasance in Edinburgh as part of the Festival Fringe.
