We’re excited to announce a new role for nabokov as a Creative Associate Company of Watford Palace Theatre.
Our partnership starts with The Palace hosting two of our productions in its Autumn Season. IS EVERYONE OK? plays the Palace for one night only on Friday 11 September, before our new production 2ND MAY 1997 rolls into Watford for two performances on Tuesday 20st and Wednesday 21st October.
Moving forward, we will be developing several new projectsin association with The Palace with the aim of producing great new work, and of developing playwrights and new writing in Watford, the Eastern Region and beyond.
Watford Palace commissions, develops and produces original contemporary plays for its Edwardian proscenium arch theatre. Led by Artistic Director Brigid Larmour, the company aims to develop inclusive, accessible plays about the way we live, with the depth and ambition to attract excellent actors, and the potential to change the way we look at things.
We join some great companies and individuals as creative associates of The Palace, including our old friends Scamp Theatre, choreographer Kate Flatt, The Opera Group, Rifco Arts, director Indu Rubasingham and playwright Gary Owen, whose brilliant short play KILL JOY we produced at The innocent Village Fete 2008.
So thanks for having us, Watford!
We look forward to announcing several exciting new projects in collaboration with Watford Palace later this year.
