"Fascinating and superbly acted," was Frank Scheck's verdict on Terre Haute in The New York Post.
Accompanying his review with four shiny stars, Scheck highlighted "the silky-voiced [Peter] Eyre subtly revealing the author's vulnerability, and [Nick] Westrate providing a chilling portrait of a man who's unrepentant over taking 168 innocent lives."
Meanwhile, over at Time Out New York, Adam Feldman also adorned his critique with four stars, which makes eight in one day. Yeah!
Feldman praised "Edmund White’s intelligent, prickling drama," and "George Perrin’s lean and focused production."
