Deacon_largeSTOP PRESS ... If the embarrassment of riches we’ve already announced wasn’t embarrassing enough, we’ve added even more squeal inducing genius to the Arts Club bill. So stomp your feet for:

TOM DEACON (pictured, right)
The 2007 winner of Chortle's Student Comedian, Amused Moose New Act finalist and star of The Comedy Zone in Edinburgh this summer, Tom has burst onto the comedy scene drawing all eyes his way with undeniable stage presence and the kind of gags and slick timing that assures him greatness.

Plus, a crack team comprising playwrights DUNCAN MACMILLAN and GARY OWEN, designers PAUL BURGESS and SIMON DAW, and nabokov artistic director GEORGE PERRIN have been locked away in the studio creating a breathtaking installation inspired by Duncan and Gary’s exquisite short plays Sleeve Notes and Kill Joy, through which you can wander, wide-eyed, while listening to the plays.

Oh, and in case you’d forgotten, we’ve got poetry from DOCKERS MC, live music from BRIDGETTE AMOFAH and THE TOY HEARTS, and our host and compere LUKE WRIGHT. And food. And booze. And dancing. And other stuff we come up with.

So quick, book your ticket at before they're gone.

And see you at Village Underground at 8pm on Saturday 13 September for the undisputed heavyweight of artistic happenings anywhere, ever. Get in.
