Present : Tense on tour

Pt_logo_newspapers_portraitFollowing two successful sold out events at Southwark Playhouse this Spring, Present : Tense is off on a little summer tour.

First up is Present : Tense / Hotbed at The Junction, Cambridge, on Wednesday 9 July 2008 as part of the Hotbed Festival.

P:T/Hotbed features some of the finest talent from the Eastern Region - playwrights Stacey Gregg and Guy Jones, director Oliver Jones, musician Melody Laffy, performance poets John Osborne and Luke Wright and the multi-talented Mahlon Prince who is both director and poet.

The artists met last night in Cambridge to select their topic and now, as ever, have one week to create a response.

Find out what story they chose over on the PT blog.

Then we're off to Liverpool for Present : Tense / Everyword on Wednesday 23 July at The Everyman Theatre as part of the Everyword Festival.

Merseyside's finest taking up the challenge include playwrights Helen Blakeman, Michael McLean and Lizzie Nunnery, director Gemma Bodinetz, performance poet Nathan Jones, film-makers Sam Meech and Tim Brunsden and musical maestros Nilamusic vs Sketchybeast and Peter and the Wolf.

As ever, all developments will be swiftly posted to the PT blog.
