nabokov at the innocent village fete

We're hugely excited to announce we'll be curating and hosting the Village Voice stage at the innocent village fete this summer.

We're huge fans of super smoothie makers innocent (especially their orange, carrot and mango smoothie - yum) so we're thrilled they've invited us join the team for the second annual Village Fete which is taking place in Regent's Park, London, on Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd 2008.

We'll be programming an eclectic mix of theatre, poetry, live literature and lots lots more from 12pm - 6pm on both days on the brand new Village Voice stage - making its debut at the Fete this year.

We'll be announcing our line-up right here on the blog in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned for news of some top names and the hottest theatrical, poetical and literary talent lining up to wow you with words and drink lots of crushed fruit in the sunshine.

Additionally there's a whole host of great bands playing and loads of activities for all the family including welly wanging, morris dancing and, erm, duck herding. And cream teas. And a knitting tent.

All the info on the fete is right here. And you can buy tickets here.
