Proving that political drama does have a place in the 21st century, Van Badham's latest lay gets straight to the point. In a London under siege from unknown bombers, a 'modern' family (read: divorcee, widow and half-siblings) grapple with the contradictions caused by a head-on collision between human reactions and political beliefs. Can you have, and stick to, ideals when you are under attack? Are lefty rantings and peaceful protests a thing of the past? Is direct action the only way? And, if so, what will be the death toll in a world of WMDs? Camarilla doesn't come up with the answers, but it does explode our politically inert world.
