George is co-founder and was artistic director of nabokov from 2006 - 2009.

For nabokov, George directed 2nd May 1997 by Jack Thorne (Bush Theatre London and National Tour), Is Everyone OK? by Joel Horwood (National Tour), Public Displays of Affection by Joel Horwood (Latitude Festival, Suffolk), Terre Haute by Edmund White (Off-Broadway, West End / National Tour / Assembly Rooms Edinburgh, nabokov) and Camarilla by Van Badham (Old Red Lion London / Edinburgh Festival Fringe).
